Becoming part of our Dental Family
When you arrive, our team will welcome you to our office and have you complete some necessary forms. Next, one of our team members will take you on a tour of the office so you can become better acquainted with our facility. As a new guest in our office we like to get to know you a better so one of our team members will sit down with you to review your forms. Personal thoughts should be shared so we can understand your expectations. He will explain his philosophy of comprehensive patient care and give you on a tour of your mouth using an intra-oral camera so that you can see what the doctor sees. (This camera also magnifies the image 25x so that fine details that may have never been seen before can be evaluated) Data will be collected on each individual tooth, your gums, your smile, your bite and your jaw joint function. With the appropriate xrays, Dr. McCoy will assess your dental health and make recommendations for treatment. Sometimes a follow up appointment is necessary to discuss more detailed treatment plans. You and the doctor will decide on an effective treatment approach to meet your needs. Insurance and financial matters will also be clarified and arranged with a team member before treatment.
