Most people need dental cleanings and checkups every six months. Even if you brush and floss your teeth regularly, there are some areas of your mouth that are difficult to clean. We can clean those areas off to ensure they don’t develop into cavities.
Not everyone’s mouths are the same, though. Dr. McCoy may recommend that you come in for dental appointments more often if you’re at a higher risk for cavities or oral disease.
Sleep apnea is a serious sleep disorder that can lead to health issues. Despite this, the condition is often underdiagnosed. People with sleep apnea may develop heart disease and type 2 diabetes and be at risk for heart attacks and strokes.
Dr. McCoy offers oral appliance therapy as well as Vivos treatment for sleep apnea and snoring. These comfortable, convenient sleep apnea solutions are much smaller and easier to use than a CPAP.
